Did the Supreme Court get it right in Jones? Some would say that if you can get nine justices to agree on anything than it must be right. But looking at the Jones decision there appears to be more that needs to be answered. |

The Detroit Tigers Justin Verlander has become the first starting pitcher in 25 years to win a Most Valuable Player award, adding it to his Cy Young Award last week. |

This weekend was to be a ho-hummer for college football. If you listened to the talking heads, this weekend’s game would have about as much excitement was though yellow cellophane wrapped crackers you can purchase in a vending machine.
What happened was a complete melt down of the projected BCS picture. |

Going through my inbox, I had some interesting e-mail.
“Why does Great_One 98 keep getting into all types of arguments with people like Foppa and others?”
--> Well Sally, hockey is a contact sport and so are the forums. Those people have been going at for years. It’s almost as if I expect to see them up on the next round of advertisements from the United Colors of Benetton. Instead of Pope Benedict XVI kissing Ahmed Mohamed el-Tayeb, imam of Al-Azhar mosque it would be Ed kissing Chris below the words UNHATE. |

I was looking around and came across one of the first entries on this site, my journal. Looking back things have carried on well.
(Click Read More to see what I wrote for our relaunch) Here is a little peek.
"I can’t believe the new site is up and running. Sometimes, I really think that people on the site think that I know what is happening more than I do. I cannot thank Micah (the site) owner enough for his support of this project. My only hope is that he generates ad revenue from those annoying pop-ups because HTR and this site must be a ton of work for him and more often than not he is not given the credit that the Admin’s run the site get." |
